Paddleboarding, windsurfing, and kiteboarding are not allowed on Jordan Pond because it is easy to fall off into the water, and no humans are allowed in the water because the pond is used as a drinking water source.
Can you kayak on Echo Lake Maine?
Paddlers can launch a canoe or kayak at Ike’s Point, just off Route 102 midway along the east side of Echo Lake. The free Island Explorer shuttle bus makes frequent stops at Echo Lake Beach, and connects visitors to points throughout the park.
