- WHAT: 1.5K run -- 400m swim -- 1.5K run
- WHEN: Saturday, June 13, 2009
- WHERE: Lynn Hall Park, Fort Myers Beach
- TIME: Duathon begins at 5 PM; check-in begins at 4 PM
- COURSE: The Duathlon starts and ends at Lynn Hall Park on Fort Myers Beach. The run is on the sand beach parallel to the Gulf of Mexico (750m north from the park, turn, and 750m back to the start area), the swim is on a marked course in the Gulf of Mexico, and the final run is the same course as the initial run. Runners will cross a finish line marked by cones.
- ENTRY: Entry can be done online at active.com or at the pavilion in Lynn Hall Park on race day. Online entry closes at midnight (PST) on May 29, 2009. The online entry fee is $20 plus the active.com registration fee; the race day entry fee is $25.
- AWARDS: Special awards to the top male and female overall winners; awards to the top three in each age group (10& Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, etc.); special award to fastest combined time parent/child (10&under age).
